New Build to New Home
The number of decisions in any building project can be daunting - but having a house built from scratch takes the volume of decisions to a whole new level!
When existing clients had a house built for them, it was exciting to work with them to help turn a building plot into a family home.
Building site.....
.....to bedroom.....
Curtains and bespoke blinds for even the most challenging of window shapes!
The family's existing dining chairs (left) were given smart new upholstery to tie in with newer furnishings.
When the client fancied something decorative that could also serve as an occasional use coat rack, I was happy to create this branch design and liaise with a local ironmonger to make it.
Above is how the large loft room looked when I first saw it.
We created a games room / chill out area for the clients' teenage sons. (There's even an ensuite WC hidden behind London Bridge!)
One of the later areas we worked on, the room was decorated and furnished in soft shades of blue, inspired by a favourite painting.
Sometimes design needs to happen organically and the result was just a little too calm. Adding small amounts of a vibrant orange were exactly what was needed.
